In addition to out of school clubs Playworks provides administration and financial management services to childcare providers e.g. Playgroups and after school clubs.

The main service area is Payroll and at present we provide these services to approximately 40 childcare providers and process wages for around 250 employees per month.

Playworks can offer three levels of service: -

• Bronze – Payroll;
• Silver – Payroll and Financial Management; and
• Gold – Payroll, Financial Management and Administrative Support.

We specialise in providing complete support for childcare providers and our service is totally unique. Playworks removes the administrative burden from your childcare provision allowing your staff to spend their time devoted to childcare.

Playworks can also offer management support to existing out of school clubs lightening the load for voluntary management committees or other community run groups. If you would like further information please contact the Playworks Head office

The following steps should be followed for new clients sign up for Playworks payroll services.

Step 1 - Complete a client registration form.

Step 2 – Each employee must complete and return an employee starter form.

Step 3 – Each employee must either forward a P45 of complete a P60 form. If this an existing employee please provide tax code and P11 details. (click here to download a new p46 PDF file)

Step 4 – Each employee must complete a staff time sheet (click here to download word file) and return to Playworks Head Office either by post of by fax by 20th of each month. Please enclose payment for estimated wages, or ask for Playworks bank details  to make direct payment

There is an initial set up fee of £7.50 per employee with a monthly cost of £4.00 per payslip for each employee there after. Discounts are available to clients with more than 10 employees.
